IRC Carocelle Limited are pleased to announce their appointment as Specialist Roof & Wall Cladding contractors for this prestigious development in the heart of the 2012 Olympic Park.
Site operations are due to commence early 2010 on the main Arena roof. A single-ply roof construction achieving an Acoustic rating no less than 45db has been specifically designed and tested by an independent assessor in accordance with strict planning conditions. 88No Monodraught sun pipes are to be incorporated within the main field area of the Arena roof, measuring no less than 1.5m in diameter, similarly tested to achieve a 45db Acoustic rating.
Concept architects “Make” have chosen pre-oxide Copper rainscreen cladding to the main arena elevations. Vertically laid standing seam Copper sheets shall cloak Kingspan cold store insulated wall panels to all elevations, creating a fast track watertight envelope enabling internal fit-out works to commence ahead of key programme target dates.
